Our vision is a vibrant Congolese Community of Scranton (CCS) where every
member feels a sense of belonging, where cultural traditions are celebrated and
preserved, and where individuals are empowered to overcome challenges and contribute
positively to the broader Scranton community, the state and the Union.
Values Statement
The Congolese Community of Scranton is dedicated to fostering unity among refugee families, preserving cultural traditions, and promoting mutual support. Our organization ensures the well-being of members by addressing needs related to education, welfare, and legal matters. We strive to integrate seamlessly into American society, contributing as a productive community while creating a supportive environment for new families.
